Case Study

Megalogix warehouse network

Since 2007 Jones Lang LaSalle has been instructed by Megalogix Ltd – a joint venture between Raven Russia and Avalon Equity – to provide feasibility studies for the development of grade A warehouse networks in major regional cities across Russia and the CIS.

The services included the analysis of key supply and demand factors in each individual city. We conducted a series of surveys to assess the potential client requirements for grade A warehouse space in the Megalogix locations. We identified and analysed competitive logistic schemes in the selected cities.

The study resulted in a set of recommendations on timing and phasing of the warehouse space delivery in each of the surveyed locations. Our recommendations also included marketing advice with emphasis on pricing policy, major client groups and considerations on the take-up schedule. The feasibility studies serve as a platform for the Jones Lang LaSalle marketing campaign on the projects that are being realized by Megalogix Ltd, including the completed schemes in Rostov and Novosibirsk.
