Columbus Tower, Canary Wharf, London, E14

Jones Lang LaSalle UK - Valuations Case Study - Columbus TowerIn December 2008 we provided valuation advice to the Royal Bank of Scotland for refinancing on this substantial proposed mixed use tower. There is current planning consent for a 63 storey, 1m sq ft mixed use tower, including residential, service apartments, offices and hotel. The scheme is located within Canary Wharf and will, when constructed provide a landmark scheme.

We provided valuation advice on the current building and on the consented scheme. We also appraised alternative schemes that were being considered. The development is further complicated by being over the proposed Crossrail Tunnels which could affect timing which we needed to factor into our valuation advice.
The scheme has a potential gross development value of in excess of £700m.
