Stores Acquisition for Timberland

Timberland was established in 1978 when Abington Shoe Company became The Timberland Company. Today, it designs, engineers, markets, distributes and sells premium quality footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and children that are comfortable enough to wear all day and rugged enough for all year.

Timberland sells products internationally through independent retailers, department stores and sports stores in addition to Timberland’s own retail locations: specialty stores and factory outlet stores.

Jones Lang LaSalle are appointed to work with Timberland to further develop the brand's UK retail presence.

“We are looking to develop our retail business and it’s important we select the correct partners at the start of this process. We see JLL as a key relationship to support our need for advice and building our location strategy. This should be the start of a great relationship…” John Broomhead, Head of Retail, Timberland
