A landowner required expert guidance as part of legal proceedings, in order to determine payments due under an overage clause entered into following the sale of land that was subsequently developed as a wind farm.
JLL REC wrote a detailed report to support the mediation between the two parties, outlining the value of the wind farm under the specific assumptions of the agreement. We also applied market knowledge and precedents that would have been available at the date in question, using the historic knowledge and experience of those team members active in the industry at the time of the wind farm’s construction.
