Jones Lang LaSalle appointed exclusive agent in the commercialisation process of GaleriaWilanów

Warsaw, Cannes, 18 November 2011 – We are pleased to announce that Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed by GLOBE TRADE CENTRE SA and POLNORD as exclusive agent in the commercialisation process of Galeria Wilanów in Warsaw’s Wilanów district.

The 7.5 ha site in the Wilanów district is one of the last key strategic sites in Warsaw that can support a high quality retail development of this nature”.

After completion, the total space of Galeria Wilanów will amount to 76,600 sq. m GLA and will accommodate 270 retail and service units, a supermarket and an extensive leisure & entertainmentspace, including a multiplex cinema, fitness facilities and children’s entertainment features. For the convenience of shoppers, the project will offer above and underground parking, with 2,700 car spaces. The project was co-created by renowned architecture studios, APA Wojciechowski Sp. z o.o and Tzur Architects & Town Planners Ltd., and will be built in compliance withstandards defined by the U.S. GreenBuilding Council®, enabling it to meetthe requirements for prestigious LEED(Leadership in Energy & EnvironmentalDesign) certification. The opening of Galeria Wilanów is planned for 2014.

GaleriaWilanów is located in the very centre of the Wilanów district, close to the fast-growing MiasteczkoWilanów (Wilanów Town), one of the biggest housing developments in Poland. The site, located in the very centre of Wilanów, at the crossroads of Przyczółkowa and Płaskowickiejbis streets, is well connected to the neighbouring residential districts of Ursynów, Mokotów and Konstancin-Jeziorna and benefits from a catchment area of nearly 1,404,000 inhabitants. The location is extensively served by public transport with 27 bus lines passing close to the site and planned tram link which will run along Rzeczpospolita avenue.
