London, Cannes, 17 November 2011 – At 57 percent in the first three quarters of 2011, the share of international retailers renting space in prime German rental locations reached the highest percentage ever. Against this background, Jones Lang LaSalle is now offering an English-language version of its free “Retail City Scout” publication.
Launched at MAPIC 2011, the international real estate fair, this compendium of Germany’s most important shopping streets is downloadable from as of today.

The firm’s “Retail City Scout” contains a precise map of over 300 shopping streets in more than 160 German cities and lists all retail tenants with their exact address. Top rents, chain store ratios, population figures as well as purchasing power ratios and centrality indices complete this exhaustive presentation of Germany’s prime retail locations. In addition, Jones Lang LaSalle’s exclusive footfall measurements provide tenants and investors with a meaningful indicator of achievable retail sales in particular locations.
