Jones Lang LaSalle assigned to manage Grosvenor retail property portfolio in Sweden

Retail space under management by Jones Lang LaSalle Sweden hits 800,000 sq m

London, 21st December 2011Jones Lang LaSalle Sweden have been appointed to provide management, leasing and development advice for Grosvenor’s Swedish property portfolio. The portfolio includes the Väsby Centre, Bålsta Centre, Haninge Centre and ICA Maxi properties in Helsingborg, with a total floorspace of 100,000 square meters.

The portfolio is owned by a consortium of investors led by Grosvenor Fund Management. Grosvenor, one of the world’s leading real estate investors, is a private investor group and owns real estate in major cities worldwide with a long term perspective and is backed by many of the world’s largest companies.

During 2011, total retail space managed by Jones Lang LaSalle in Sweden increased by 180,000 square meters, to a current total of 800,000 square meters. This includes shopping centers and retail space from Sundsvall in the north to Malmö in the south.
