Successful projects which have a big impact frequently result from an unusually powerful idea. The year 2012 once again sees immobilienmanager single out the best and most innovative players in the industry under the motto „Innovation ist gefragt. Innovationen werden gesucht“ (“Innovation is in demand. Innovations are wanted”). For the fourth time, companies, individuals, government agencies and institutions with a base in Germany, Austria or Switzerland were invited to enter projects which were completed in the years 2010 or 2011 or which were expected to be completed before year-end 2011.

The award goes to Jones Lang LaSalle for their European campaign for the distribution of the study “Luxury Shopping Streets in Europe 2011“.

The study captures the key trends in the European markets for luxury labels. Focusing exclusively on manufacturers’ own retail networks, it describes the importance of the 100 leading luxury brands in Europe’s 23 largest metropolitan centres across a total of 14 countries. Jones Lang LaSalle’s German marketing team developed the concept, lead-managed the implementation of the study and controlled the subsequent Europe-wide campaign for its distribution to the media.

Resulting in more than 400 print and online clippings from the international press, this high-profile campaign not only set Jones Lang SaSalle apart from its competitors in the fiercely contested retail property market but also raised the firm’s profile in the general media. The successful implementation of the multinational communication approach drew particular praise from the award judges.
