Andrew Gould to become chief executive of Jones Lang LaSalle England

Andy Mottram steps up into new EMEA regional role

London, 15th June 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Andrew Gould, currently head of its Professional & Advisory Group, is to become chief executive of its English Business from 1st July 2009.

Andy Mottram, who has been head of the English Business for four years, is stepping up into a full-time EMEA Management Board role overseeing the firm’s Management Services, Advisory and Project & Development Services operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will also be responsible at board level for the country businesses in Belgium, Central & Eastern Europe, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordics, Russia & CIS and Scotland.

Christian Ulbrich, CEO EMEA Jones Lang LaSalle said: "Andy Mottram has led the re-shaping of our English Business over the past four years, demonstrating great vision in anticipating changing client demand and in building new market-leading positions in advisory, retail, sustainability services and property management to complement our traditional strengths in the transactional markets. We believe he can play a central role in extending that vision across our EMEA business."

He continued: "As a longstanding member of our English Executive team, Andrew Gould’s proven leadership skills and experience provide for continuity and a smooth transition. His longstanding track record of success and his market profile as adviser to some of our major clients make him ideally qualified to head up our second largest country business worldwide. Notwithstanding the testing market environment, I am sure Andrew and his leadership team will continue to build on the powerful platform we already have in place in England, further enhancing our capacity for excellent client service, while developing new ideas and services to fully support clients as market conditions improve."

Andrew Gould has led Jones Lang LaSalle’s Professional & Advisory Group since 2004. Over the past five years, revenues in that group grew by 125%, reaching £45m (€52m) for 2008.

He said: "Our English business has made huge progress under Andy Mottram’s clear-sighted leadership. We are in a strong position with a broader and deeper range of services and the ability to anticipate and quickly adapt to the rapidly changing shape of property markets. We have a hard-won reputation for exceptional client service and my primary goal is to ensure we retain our mindset ‘clients first’ in all we do."

Andy Mottram added: "Andrew Gould is an excellent choice as the new chief executive for England. I have had the chance to work particularly closely with him over the last four years and I am very confident that under his leadership the business will emerge stronger from this tough market than when it went in."

Succeeding Andrew Gould in his current role, Andrew Renshaw will become the new lead director for Professional & Advisory when these changes all take effect at the beginning of next month, in addition to his existing role as head of the firm’s Valuation business.
