Electronics manufacturer relocates to Castlehill Industrial Estate
Manchester, 21st February 2013 - The Manchester industrial team at Jones Lang LaSalle has let a 25,963 sq ft unit at Castlehill Industrial Estate in Bredbury to electronics manufacturer Darlington EMS.
The firm has signed a 10-year lease to relocate from its current premises at Offerton Industrial Estate in Stockport to the site which has been fully refurbished.
Darlington EMS is the third new occupier which has been attracted to the site in the past 18 months, following a 22,573 sq ft letting to global engineering business James Walker Townson and 26,896 sq ft to the Pilkington Group.
The deal signals that just one fully refurbished unit of 12,000 sq ft remains available at site located on Horsfield Way.
Mark Sillitoe, associate director industrial & logistics at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: “It is no surprise that Castlehill is continuing to prove popular, as occupiers will always be interested in high quality accommodation on well-managed estates with excellent motorway access”.
Castlehill Industrial Estate comprises nine units totalling approximately 150,000 sq ft in Bredbury, close to the centre of Stockport.
Jones Lang LaSalle and Impey & Co are joint agents for the site.
