Galeria Inno settles in Hasselt with the help of Jones Lang LaSalle

The Retail team of Jones Lang LaSalle has let a commercial surface of 8.000 m² located Koning Albertstraat 46-50 in Hasselt to the German retailer Galeria Inno. This transaction represents the largest retail surface letting in years on Belgian high streets and demonstrates the attractivity of Hasselt for retailers.

The investment fund Baltisse acquired the building Koning Albertstraat 46-50 during Q4 2012, former property of Group GL, with intervention of the Capital Markets team of Jones Lang LaSalle. The redevelopment of this site, former Go Sport, Kruidvat and parking My Park, now contains 2 units for a total surface of 8.853 m². Galeria Inno rents the largest part, about 8.000 m², and the second unit, 853 m², is momently in negotiation with the current tenant, Kruidvat.

Galeria Inno is a department store, part of the German group Galeria Kaufhoff, himself being part of the Metro Group. Up to now, 15 Galeria Inno are installed in the main Belgian cities.

Jones Lang LaSalle acted on behalf of the owner, Baltisse, in this transaction.
