JLL to exclusively advise on the sale of Georgian townhouse hotel in Dublin, Ireland

51-guestroom ‘Staunton’s on the Green’ hotel on sale for a guide price of €12 million


JLL has today announced that it has been selected as the sole agent to sell the landmark four-star townhouse hotel, Staunton's on the Green, located in Dublin 2, Ireland, for a guide price in excess of €12m.

Offered for sale with freehold title and the benefit of full vacant position, this 51-guestroom townhouse offers a prestigious address, established trading history, attractive period accommodation and considerable upside potential. 

Retaining its original Georgian elegance and style, situated between the Iveagh Gardens and St Stephen's Green, Staunton's on the Green extends to over 20,000 sq ft, covering a site of over 0.35 acres. The guesthouse is complete with an attractive reception, two well-appointed lounges, a popular breakfast room and a large garden. It holds the title as the only hotel with private access into the famous Iveagh Gardens and is expected to attract strong interest from existing hoteliers and property investors both domestically and internationally.

St Stephen's Green is one of Dublin's most popular tourist attractions and the city's most established luxury hotel location. It is well connected to all Dublin city's amenities by a LUAS metro station 250m away, minutes' walk from prime leisure attractions including Trinity College, and close to many bars, cafes, restaurants and private members' clubs.

The Dublin City Centre hotel market is one of the fastest growing markets in Europe, posting impressive YTD RevPAR growth to July 2015 of +23.5%. Currently there are no hotels expected to open in the area in 2015.
